After skulking around the parking lot for a while, a man wearing a culinary-school-style chef’s toque and a bandana as a mask entered a Lutz, Florida, Burger King and robbed the place at gunpoint Wednesday morning. In keeping with the getup, the Hillsborough County Sheriff says the robber was also wearing latex food-service gloves, so maybe they’re looking for someone well versed in the local health department code.

The fast-food chain recently retired its old “Have it Your Way” slogan, replacing it with the more laconic “Be Your Way,” signaling a shift in Burger King culture an executive described as emphasizing lifestyle over actual purchases that will “showcase our guests being their own way, in whatever iteration that may be.” From the looks of it, this guy seems to have taken things way too far.
