DNAinfo reports that a section of 126th Street at Lenox Avenue will now be known as "Sylvia P. Woods Way," in honor of restaurateur Sylvia Woods, who died in July of 2012. Woods's granddaughter Shauna Woods has been working on the commemorative renaming since 2007. "This was the place she loved and gave as a gift to the entire community," she said yesterday at the dedication. [DNAinfo, Related]
