He’s not lying! Robert Irvine visited the Pentagon Monday, and his spokesperson confirms the point was for the Food Network host to conduct a site visit for his next restaurant. Meal options right now for the building’s 30,000 employees are notoriously glum and greasy, making them “the focus of endless complaints by the buildings denizens,” the Journal notes. While Irvine’s project is mostly causing confusion so far — he seemingly caught the Pentagon press secretary off guard, and no one knows what he’s going to serve — something tells us it’s all going to be okay, because everyone knows the Restaurant: Impossible host only needs 48 hours to open, anyhow.
