Last night was Robert Aikens’s last in the kitchen at the Peacock and the Shakespeare, the five-month-old adjoining restaurants in the Williams Hotel. “The entire kitchen team has been great and have worked tirelessly to get the Peacock and Shakespeare where it is today and I wish them all the best for the future,” the British chef said in a statement emailed by a representative, who adds that Aikens is currently “exploring opportunities” in the city.
