Last night on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart deftly took apart the riveting proceedings that took place earlier this week in Albany, in which the New York State Senate floated a proposal to make yogurt the official state snack. The plan was devised by fourth-graders and was ultimately approved, but only after a riveting, 40-minute debate that touched upon pretzels, the true nature of "snacks," and lactose intolerance. "I'm going to be honest with you guys right here. I'm sure the fourth-graders didn't even want to do this project," says Stewart.
