A press release that just smashed its way into Grub Street’s inbox says that this summer, Bally’s in Atlantic City will launch Guy Fieri’s Chophouse, which will be “a mash up of flavors and classic styles.” What does that mean? Well, the release goes on to say that Guy Fieri’s Chophouse is a “unique twist on the classic steakhouse,” and that “the restaurant will feature a menu of popular signature dishes with New Jersey flare” like Java Rubbed Ribeye Chop and clams casino. So in other words, it will be your run-of-the-mill steakhouse, but cranked up to 11 thanks to the addition of a bar that runs the entire length of the restaurant — because how killer does that sound, right? — and a look that’s “reminiscent of Guy’s style with stainless steel and brass accents.” Sounds klassy.
