Jim Caiola and David Salama of the Emerald Green Group have finally corrected their chimney woes and other administrative issues, clearing the way for the historic Central Park restaurant's reopening. Here's the rundown: Locavore-leaning chef Katy Sparks — whose array of kitchen firepower includes two hearth ovens, grills, and planchas — will begin previews of her new dinner menu on April 24, followed by what's surely going to be an incredibly jammed Mother's Day brunch on May 10 and 11. The "full grand opening" takes place on May 13, by which time the grass may be green enough for Tavern customers to sit outside.
