A Louisiana schoolteacher who discovered a pentagram and the numbers “666” done up in caramel atop the whipped cream of her Starbucks espresso drinks has received an apology from the coffee chain for the foam pas. “I am in no way judging his beliefs or dis-meriting his beautiful artwork, I am however judging his lack of professionalism and respect for others,” the customer wrote in a note posted to Starbucks page, in which she also admitted the star was “almost okay” because stars are also contained in the chain’s logo, so it didn’t necessarily have to be interpreted as the unholy sign of Lucifer, or whatever. In other news, it seems kids in North Carolina have been getting into all kinds of trouble by rolling ground coffee into joints and smoking it. [Advertiser]
