Get ready for a more haute-couriered cuisine, America: San Francisco–based and Winklevii-approved Caviar has raised $13 million (plus $2 million in a seed round) for the latest in that firm’s big expansion push across the country. Chief executive Jason Wang says the company will use the cash to establish operations beyond San Francisco, New York, and Seattle into at least 15 more cities. Meanwhile, the company’s New York presence continues to expand: David Chang just launched Ssäm Bar lunchtime pork-bun and rice-cake deliveries through Caviar, joining restaurants like Han Dynasty, Mission Cantina, and DBGB Kitchen & Bar, which have all signed on in recent months.
