The Hollywood Reporter hears that the former “upmarket deli and marketplace” Local 1205 will soon be turned into the second location of April Bloomfield and Ken Friedman’s Spotted Pig, which ten years ago first introduced Bloomfield’s straightforward but innovative whole-animal cookery and bistro food to New Yorkers. So far, neither has confirmed the news, which THR attributes to multiple sources, but the pair reopened San Francisco’s venerable Tosca Cafe last October and have another project underway at the former Lusty Lady in North Beach, so more West Coast projects would seem to make sense.
