Three Minutes of Tetris Dispels Hunger and Alcohol Cravings

A just-published study of 119 subjects indicates that hankerings for food, cocktails, and even cigarettes can be obliterated with “short bursts” of Tetris, of all things. Researchers found that “after three minutes of playing Tetris, people’s cravings had reduced by 24% in comparison to the control condition.” This will no doubt come as very bad news for the sales team behind that classic video-game-themed bar and restaurant planned for the Chicago area.
