Spoon University’s Taste Talks; Costata’s Wine Dinner

• On April 16 and 17, the Brooklyn Night Bazaar will host Cambalache (One Night in Argentina). The event will include over 120 Argentine wines, street food from Sur Empanada, Cones’ ice cream, and historical Argentine cocktails from Malbec House. Tickets are $80. [Grub Street]

• College-food publication Spoon University’s first-ever Taste Talks is on April 8, with panel discussions (speakers include Grub’s Sierra Tishgart and the Num Pang owners), snacks, and cocktails. Tickets for the event are $18. [Grub Street]

• On April 7, Boulud Sud’s executive chef Travis Swikard will launch his special Voyages dinner series, a monthly event meant to highlight different cuisines from Mediterranean regions. April’s location is Israel, and each menu will feature four courses and will run guests $95.

• Starting on April 1, Certe will offer its first-ever vegetable sandwich of the month: the F.A.S. (fried asparagus socca). The sandwich is made up of parsley and romano-crusted, slow-roasted asparagus, lemon-caper-whipped potatoes, and a chickpea crepe. [Grub Street]

• Famed sommelier Rajat Parr will join the chefs at Costata for a one-night-only tasting with wine pairings on April 4. The menu includes a fluke crudo, pasta with pork shoulder ragu, and a cheese course for dessert. Reservations are $175. [Grub Street]
