On Saturday, the International Association of Culinary Professionals named the winners of its annual awards during a ceremony in Chicago. Winners include Pok Pok’s Andy Ricker, for his Saveur article on Thai curries, and Francis Lam, for his Lucky Peach feature on former Daniel chef Alex Lee. Policy advocate Marion Nestle won for her book on food politics, chef Deborah Madison received an award for her comprehensive book about vegetables, and meanwhile, Food52 and Saveur tied for Best Culinary Website, while Food & Wine took Publication of the Year honors.
