Along with the 15,000 or so people headed to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal this weekend for the Red Hook Criterium, Erin Norris’s neighborhood restaurant Grindhaus will debut weekend lunch service for the first time, running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. (Chef Aaron Taber’s dinner menu will be available, as usual, at 6 p.m., so only sandwiches and pastries will be offered in the interim.) Norris says the backyard will be open for the first time as well, weather permitting, and that the restaurant will accept credit cards through Square. This weekend’s menu includes a special “Crit-wiches” section, which includes a chicken confit bánh mì on a Haus-made baguette. The full menu, straight ahead.
