Calliope’s Writer Series; Momofuku’s Cocktail 101 Class

• The spring lineup of master classes at Calliope has been announced, and first up on March 26 is a children’s book writing class with author Kirsten Hall. • On March 30, starting at 11 a.m., Michael Veach of the Filson Historical Society of Louisville, Kentucky, and Bourbon Hall of Fame inductee will lead a day-long class on the heritage of Bourbon Whiskey at the Brooklyn Kitchen. Hotel Chantelle is offering an “Improper English Roast” on Sundays starting March 9. The meal will feature three courses, including a 16-ounce thick-cut roast with classic Yorkshire pudding and bourbon bread pudding for dessert. It’s $36 per person and includes beer pairings. [Grub Street]
