Kerry Diamond and Rob Newton serve Vietnamese food at Nightingale 9, their second full-service restaurant after Seersucker, and Newton says he hopes to travel to Myanmar this year to expand his experience with Southeast-Asian cooking. In the meantime, he’ll draw on his experience with Burmese cooks, as well as the writer Naomi Duguid’s work, for the second installment of the restaurant’s Seersucker Mondays. Next week’s one-night-only fixed-price menu is $40 for four courses, including duck heart and tenderloin skewers and ohno kaukswe, a coconut-and-chicken soup. For more information and reservations, visit the restaurant’s OpenTable page. [Earlier]
