Last August, Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group announced that Gabriel Kreuther, opening chef at the Modern and its companion Bar Room at the Modern, would leave to open a place of his own, and today the Times has new details: The restaurant will open “in about a year” within the W.
