Federal Donuts in New York; Birch Coffee Moves Flagship Location

Birch Coffee is moving its flagship store about 60 feet down 27th Street to a larger 1,000-square-foot location. The expanded shop, which will open on February 18, will feature an additional espresso machine, and there will be free musical performances beginning in March. There are also plans to add a line of cold-pressed juices to the menu. [Grub Street]

• The owners of Philly’s beloved Federal Donuts will be in New York tomorrow from 3 to 7 p.m. at Lior Lev Sercarz’s La Boite a Epice for a fund-raiser.
