U.K. Woman Buried in Coffee-Themed Coffin

Perhaps inspired by those totally true tales of PBR caskets and the Pringles inventor’s potato-chip-can-based urn, a 51-year-old English woman was recently buried in a coffin emblazoned with the logo of British chain Costa Coffee. Karen Lloyd, who died eight months after being diagnosed with cancer, really loved coffee and had requested a coffin “with a difference,” a close friend said. Speaking for the family, Lloyd’s husband said that the custom piece, which included the phrase “One shot, extra hot skinny latte,” printed on one side, brought a “smile to our faces at a time of sorrow.” [Metro]
