On the Top Chef front, things are drawing quickly to a close for the show's eleventh-season contestants, which means it's time for a new city, a new menagerie of tension-mongering sound effects, and new contestants who look funny running with armfuls of food across kitchens. To that end, there's going to be a big open call, held (fittingly) February 24 at Colicchio & Sons in New York. Other open calls are going down in Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, and Los Angeles, so get to it you've basically got three weeks to bone up on your bone-out technique. The full press release, including details on the show's season-twelve renewal (but not its filming location), straight ahead.
