The culinary competition franchise that launched All Stars, Masters, and Desserts editions will give rise to the most amped-up-sounding version yet, E! reports. Each episode of Top Chef Extreme, which might as well also be a Doritos flavor, "will pit two Top Chef and Top Chef Masters alumni in a head-to-head cooking battle for three rounds of 'extreme culinary challenges.'" This probably means contestants will be tasked with things like deboning Dover sole while strapped to the undercarriage of a fast-moving municipal bus, à la Keanu Reeves in Speed, with winners going on to outmaneuver everyone else in the finale. Hosts and chef-letes haven't yet been announced, but Bravo says the show will premiere this summer, so we're bound to find out soon. [E!, Earlier]
