Sant Ambroeus restaurateurs Gherardo Guarducci and Dimitri Pauli have relaunched the restaurant inside the 50-year-old Loews Regency Hotel as a modern-American grill, with chef Dan Silverman (formerly of the Standard Grill) at the helm. First off, the establishment’s lauded Power Breakfast is back in all its egg-white-omelette-and-melon-plate glory: Healthy turkey bacon and local Vermont Creamery products have joined the fray, as well as a standout egg sandwich “My Way,” which features applewood-smoked bacon and sliced cheddar on an Amy’s Bread roll.

Otherwise, Silverman’s dinnertime entrees are in the $40 range, and include swordfish with golden raisins and oranges, spiced duck breast with dried cherries and pistachios, and jumbo-lump crab meat with caviar. More decidedly upscale dishes, plus menus, below.
