Chez Panisse alums Rayneil De Guzman and Sam White opened Ramen Shop in Oakland’s Rockridge neighborhood last January to immediate popularity: The stools at the bar and table fill up fast, and there’s generally a burgeoning wait-list fifteen minutes into service each night. The chefs and restaurant’s partners are flying in and setting up shop at Reynard in Williamsburg for the latest installment of the restaurant’s ongoing Dinner With Friends series. From 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11, and Wednesday, February 12, ramen is $17, while cocktails created for the occasion will go for $12. Sour beer and coffee will also be sold. Unlike past installments, this one’s going to be walk-ins only, and there’s even going to be a D.J. who’ll play music you can slurp to. [Related]
