Chef Hido Holli, who once co-owned the now-shuttered Lumi on the Upper East Side, will take over the kitchen at Ken & Cook. Holli’s return to New York marks the end of a thirteen-year stint cooking in Paris; in Nolita, he’ll be switching out some of the menu’s homier plates in favor of more French and Mediterranean-inspired dishes, such as grilled tuna with ratatouille and a pan-roasted duck breast with apple gremolata. The chef is expected to take over the kitchen at the almost two-year-old restaurant by the end of the month. [Earlier]
