It’s time to start leasing out some 750,000 square feet of retail space within Hudson Yards, the new complex set to open on the far west side of Manhattan, which means it’s also time to start touting the under-development property’s food credentials. To that end, Hudson Yards is getting “nine eclectic restaurants presented by unique globally-renowned chefs,” including one standout tenant that a spokesperson says will be along the lines of “Bouchon or Per Se.” The complex will boast — of course — a massive food-hall-type thing “modeled” on Eataly, called “The Kitchens.” Though no leases have been signed yet, this may ultimately include burgers, tacos, ramen, and more served in a open-kitchen, station-based-dining footprint that the developer describes as “gourmet voyeurism.” [The Real Deal, Earlier]
