A little more than a month after proprietor Carl McCoy made the news for his alleged involvement in a drug-related transaction, his modernist-leaning Williamsburg restaurant, Gwynnett St., has been remade as Lachlan, a low-key gastropub. Eater reports that former Allswell chef Alexis Krisel is in the kitchen cooking a menu that includes fried ham-hock wontons and larger plates like pappardelle with guanciale and leeks.
