An off-duty firefighter was driving down the interstate in Texas on Monday when he happened upon an eighteen-wheeler engulfed in smoke owing to a brake fire, which are notoriously tough to put out. The fire relit after the trucker’s extinguisher was used up, but luckily, the truck was carrying a shipment of Coors, so “the pair started spraying and shaking cans of beer as fast as they could” onto the blaze. The tire still exploded, but it sounds like they had fun. [Houston Chronicle]
