New Orleans Bartender Joins Benefit for Chris ‘Pish’ Piscitelli at Fort Defiance

Abigail Gullo of the tremendously popular New Orleans bar and restaurant SoBou will be behind the bar at Fort Defiance next Thursday, January 30. The Red Hook establishment’s regular Sunken Harbor tiki night will serve as a benefit for Chris Piscitelli, a beloved local bartender who died on January 18. All cash tips will go to Piscitelli’s family, who are dealing with mounting medical bills. Gullo was Fort Defiance’s former head bartender, and her custom drinks for the evening include the "Cuchulain’s Sour," which combines Powers Irish Whiskey, Jamaican rum, lemon, and Angostura.
