Literary Lunches at Calliope; Terroir’s David Bowie Celebration

Harlem Shake is now offering monthly adult “Happy Meals” that pair various sandwiches, burgers, and salads with glasses from the restaurant’s new wine list for $15. January’s consists of a kale and chickpea Caesar salad, sweet yam fries, and a glass of Malbec. Sadly, it looks like cheap plastic toys will not be included. [Grub Street]

Terroir Murray Hill will host “Bowie and Bubbles” on Wednesday, January 8 in honor of David Bowie’s birthday. The event, which will take place from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., includes Champagne specials, Bowie trivia, a David Bowie costume contest (with prizes), and, of course, plenty of Bowie tunes all night long. Each event is $100 and is limited to fifteen people. For more information and reservations, send an e-mail here. [Grub Street]
