Restaurateur Joseph Allaham, who owns kosher restaurants Solo and Pizza da Solo in the Sony Building, as well as the nearby Prime Grill, will close the fine-dining restaurant on January 9. Plans exist to reopen in an as-yet-unannounced location. Earlier this year, it was reported that Joseph Chetrit and others, who bought the building from Sony in the spring for $1.1 billion, had been trying to evict the restaurants in advance of a planned conversion to a high-end condo and hotel. The pizza place is staying put, the Real Deal reports. [Real Deal, Earlier]
