Happy-Hour Specials at Gotham West Market; Expanded Menu at Wine Spot

• The recently opened Gotham West Market is offering a couple of happy-hour specials. Monday through Friday from 3 until 7 p.m., Seamus Mullen’s El Colmado will serve up $1 oysters, as well as a half-dozen oysters with a glass of cava for $11. The Cannibal is offering $2 cans of Busch, $5 Evan Williams, and $9 Manhattans or Negronis daily from 3 until 7 p.m. [Grub Street]

Almond is hosting its sixth annual Christmas Eve pig roast on December 24, from 5 p.m., with a portion of the proceeds going to Pajama Program, a nonprofit that provides pajamas and books to children in need. The meal will feature three whole suckling pigs alongside seasonal sides like sourdough spaetzle and caramelized apples. Chez Oskar in Fort Greene has relaunched with a brand-new menu and cocktail program. It will now offer French classics such as acorn squash stuffed with ratatouille and a duck-leg cassoulet. [Grub Street]

The Lobster Palace is now offering a caviar service at its raw bar, with ten grams of white sturgeon caviar from California served with toasted blinis, crème fraiche, and chives for $30. It will also offer crab claws for $7.95 apiece, and uni for $15 apiece. [Grub Street]
