Fifteen-month-old Essex Market stall Beurre & Sel, operated by cookbook writer (and mind-bogglingly talented baker) Dorie Greenspan, along with her "cookie monster" son Joshua, has closed. "It has been fun baking for you," reads a message on its website. Bereaved cookie fans have been posting many, many sad-face emoticons on the company's Facebook page.
