Just in time for ice-skating season comes the newest iteration of Tom Colicchio’s ’wichcraft sandwich chain in Bryant Park: This time, the kiosk near 40th Street — last home to the hot-chocolate stand — is serving a sandwiches and hot soup. Choices include the classic with New York State Cheddar, and provolone with Peruvian aji verde sauce. There’s also a sweet-potato-and-mozzarella version, and the chain’s old-fashioned tomato soup, finished with basil, Parm, and vinegar. The kiosk is open every day from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., except for Sundays when the grilled-cheese-ists close up shop two hours earlier. Sandwiches run around $8, soup is $5, and if you’re still missing the hot chocolate, fear not: It’s now available at ‘wichcraft’s 41st Street spot, just next to the coffee-and-pastry kiosk.
