All those McRibs and Mighty Wings have slowed drive-through lines to a painful crawl, but McDonald’s has announced a brilliant workaround: The fast-food chain is adding a third window at stores, which effectively gives them two windows for food delivery. The move is designed to combat rampant Twitter gripes and other negative feedback, and is all part of the $3 billion master plan to improve sales across the board. In theory, it’ll also improve efficiency and help prevent things like customers getting milkshake cups filled with salt instead of milkshakes, which is something that really happened.
