Manresa Cookbook Signing; Blue Hill Releases Sweet-Potato Yogurt

• Sweet-potato is the latest flavor to be added to the roster of savory, grass-fed yogurts from Blue Hill. The flavor will be available at Whole Food Markets throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut beginning November 21. [Grub Street]

• Tonight, David Kinch, chef and owner of Manresa, will host a conversation, Q&A;, and book signing for his first book, Manresa: An Edible Reflection with co-author Christine Muhlke and Eric Ripert at the Strand. • On Wednesday, December 4 from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Maxime Bilet, chef and co-author of Modernist Cuisine, and Ted Allen will join forces with the Culinary Trust for “A Feast to Celebrate the Future of Food.” The fundraiser involves other innovative chefs and food personalities to help demonstrate the transformative power of food in the future of science and education.
