The brand-new 24-hour Southern biscuit shop on Avenue A apparently got crushed by an onslaught of biscuit fiends on its opening day, so now owners Jonathan Price and Yonadav Tsuna are tinkering with a few things to help them stay atop hot, flaky biscuit demand and will thus only be able to open the shop from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Sunday. The pair, who raised funds for the opening on Kickstarter, say they are taking the weekend to “hire and train additional staff and ramp up production.” Tuesday will see the launch of the 24-hour biscuit bonanza. Until then, you can always spend QT with this generous helping of biscuit porn. [Empire Biscuit/Twitter via Eater NY, Earlier]
