Because it’s National Cat Day, a holiday no one’s ever heard of, the diabolical strategists over at Uber have put together this furry little promotional package: Essentially, the car-service connector is giving users in New York, San Francisco, and Seattle the option to request “KITTENS!” from the app between the hours of 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. If the aforementioned cats are available, they’ll come to you, wherever you are, along with some frosted cupcakes supplied by Duff Goldman and his Charm City Bakery crew. The $20 they’re charging for this luxury will be donated to the local ASPCA, which is a low price to pay for giving your entire office the chance to snuggle with kittens.
