Grub hears that Jonathan Waxman’s chef-driven benefit for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation was a huge success: He raised $335,000 in one night, with the help of Marc Forgione, Marcus Samuelsson, and Seamus Mullen. A dinner for twelve cooked in the Bon Appétit test kitchen by Waxman, Marc Vetri, Marc Murphy, and Daniel Boulud sold for $24,000 — twice. Nicely done.
