Pearl & Ash Now Open Sundays; Corkbuzz Launches Brunch

• Last week, a Subway in San Francisco accepted a fake coupon from The Onion’s “New Subway Promotion to Honor Subtember 11” article. A prankster printed the “coupon” and offered it to a friend in hopes of embarrassing him, but an unwitting Subway employee actually accepted the thing. What’s more, it was all caught on video. Of course, Subway was not pleased. [Gothamist]

Pearl & Ash will now be open on Sundays from 5:30 p.m. to midnight starting on September 22. [Grub Street]

Corkbuzz Wine Studio will begin serving brunch on Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. this weekend. Throughout the afternoon, guests can participate in master sommelier Laura Maniec’s Champagne Campaign and enjoy all bottles of Champagne at half-price. Reservations can be made online. [Grub Street]

Butter, is getting some work done. The eatery will be closed for renovations through mid-November, and a new midtown Butter will open in mid-October at the Casa Hotel. [Eater NY]
