Picnic Opens in the East Village; Project by Project’s Benefit

Project by Project is hosting its fifteenth annual tasting benefit, Plate by Plate, on Friday, October 4, at 82Mercer to raise funds for the Film News Now Foundation. Bell Book & Candle, Blue Smoke, Jin Ramen, and many other restaurants will participate, and there will be a silent auction. Tickets are $150 to $225. [Grub Street]
