Morgan’s Brooklyn Barbecue Scores a Liquor License

Pitmaster John Avila’s new barbecue restaurant in Prospect Heights opened at the beginning of the month and has basically been packed ever since. Now Morgan’s Brooklyn Barbecue has a liquor license, and Here’s Park Slope learns that bartender Kier Hamilton — who also happens to be the master distiller at Widow Jane Whiskey in Red Hook — will manage the liquor program.
