The chef and founder of the only “kosher speakeasy” in Ditmas Park has teamed up with the former F&B; director at the 92YTribeca and will open Mason & Mug, a 30-seat kosher small-plates restaurant in Prospect Heights. The duo are currently raising funds on Indiegogo and plan to open this fall, serving vegetarian “global street food” as well as bánh mì, fish tacos, and a whole range of craft beer, wine, and cocktails. The Jew and the Carrot is calling it a “very ‘Brooklyn’ kosher restaurant.” [Jew and the Carrot, Indiegogo, Earlier]
