First Look at Marco’s, Now Open in the Old Franny’s Space

Photo: Melissa Hom

This week, Andrew Feinberg and Francine Stephens opened their much-hyped Italian trattoria, Marco’s. It’s in the space that used to house Franny’s, but in place of a pizza oven, there’s a wood-fired grill, a J&R; rotisserie, and a Zojirushi rice cooker. This isn’t Franny’s 2.0 (that’s down the block): Marco’s looks different, with a marble bar, brass fixtures, old Italian botanical prints, and vintage Paul McCobb chairs. The menu includes charred duck hearts and gizzards, chicken cacciatore, Sicilian charred eggplant, and plenty of pasta. Take a look at that and the space, straight ahead.
