It’s been two weeks since a massive fire at a Dietz and Watson food-storage facility in Delanco, New Jersey, but residents are still taking refuge indoors from the odor of rotten meat and burned flesh that has pervaded the area since the blaze. The company says the air is safe and that it’s doing everything it can to move meat that’s still in the site. But the 30 truckloads of putrid beef products removed yesterday apparently have done nothing to clear the rank air. [NBC Philadelphia]
