Mayhem & Stout Opens Brick-and-Mortar; Pork Slope’s Birthday Party

Pork Slope celebrates its first birthday on Sunday! Get there at 7 p.m. for "Banged up Bingo," with free drink prizes, and party till 4 a.m. with $10 Coors pitchers and a Patrick Swayzedecorated birthday cake. [Grub Street]

Grub Street got word a few weeks ago that Mayhem & Stout, the sandwich business formerly found in the late Dekalb Market, was working on a brick-and-mortar in Murray Hill. The restaurant opened this morning and is launching delivery on Monday.

This year's Afropunk Fest is rocking Comodore Barry Park, August 24 to 25, with Danny Brown, ?uestlove, and a fleet of New York's best food trucks in attendance. Pro tip: You can cut the line with a $25 suggested donation pass. [Grub Street]
