Daniel Burns of Luksus and Amass chef Matt Orlando bonded in the Noma kitchen during the heady days of René Redzepi’s ascent to global chef stardom, and it’s a sure bet they have as many ideas about food as they do war stories from the Michelin-starred trenches. As part of this fall’s inaugural Nordic Food Festival, the two chefs will team up and cook for twenty people on October 6 and 7 at Burns’s tiny tasting-menu restaurant at the back of Tørst in Greenpoint. Tickets are $240, which includes a beer pairing, tax, and gratuity. More information here. [Honest Cooking, Earlier]
