A mystery man bought coffee for 500 strangers earlier this week at a Tim Hortons in Edmonton, and now, two others have followed that up with $1,800 more at a Tim’s kiosk at Royal Alexandra Hospital, the Edmonton Journal reports. (About 1,600 large, free coffees, by our estimation.) Meanwhile, the extreme generosity has spread to the chain’s locations in Calgary (520 free coffees) and Ottawa (1,000). Perhaps those older gentlemen singing “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” at an Oakville, Ontario Tim Hortons earlier this year actually knew this was coming. Or miraculous things just happen at Tim Hortons. [Edmonton Journal, Earlier, Related]
