PKNY’s Closing Party; Ssäm Bar Comes to Zahav

PKNY is having a blowout party tonight before closing its doors for good tomorrow. Expect tiki drinks, food from the Meat Hook, and free tattoos (!) from Three Kings. [Grub Street]

• Philly’s Zahav popped up at Ssäm Bar a few months ago, and now Ssäm Bar’s returning the favor. Mathew Rodofker will cook a late dinner at Zahav on Tuesday, August 13. Food and drinks get going at 11:45, and will set you back $85. [Eater Philly]

• For its third anniversary, LIC Market is having a pig roast and clambake this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It’s $25 per person. [Grub Street]

Dylan’s Candy Bar will enter the doughnut arms race this Friday with a new line of candy donuts. Flavors will include Fruity Pebbles and Chocolate Turtle. [Grub Street]

• The beer distributor S.K.I. is holding a beer-and-cheese tasting session at Tavern 29 on Monday, July 29, featuring Founders’ brews and Murray’s Cheese. $30 covers a sampler flight of four beers with cheese pairings, as well as one full draft. [Grub Street]

• Stephen Starr Events is working with the Perez Art Museum in Miami to give its dining options a makeover, including some borrowed dishes and cocktails from Buddakan and Morimoto. [Grub Street]

Mark Dendy Dance will be performing a world premiere of an 80-dancer piece called Ritual Cycle in Hearst Plaza this Wednesday and Thursday at 6 p.m. Tables outside at Lincoln Ristorante will have a great view of the performance. [Grub Street]
