Kids Don’t See a Problem With That Interracial Cheerios Ad

A 30-second spot for Cheerios that debuted online in late May somehow so incited the anger of several dozen bigoted YouTube users with its depiction of an interracial family just going about their business that General Mills had to close the comments section down. The subsequent media attention gave the cute and innocuous commercial even more traction than it likely would have had to begin with, of course, and now Kids React has a new video that features several kids who see no problem at all with the fact that a cereal commercial depicts a mixed race couple in 2013. It’s pretty refreshing.
