The collaboration between beloved bartender Eben Freeman and Michael White has received a lot of hype: There’s been talk of fried chicken, a special brandy old-fashioned, and Freeman’s greatest hits. Turns out that all of these rumors are true! This Wisconsin-style cocktail bar and supper club officially opens on June 25, and while the cocktails are stellar, don’t ignore the food: Two Marea alumni are making hearty dishes like Reuben croquettes, a vegetable potpie, and Coca-Cola ice cream.
